A few years ago I became a Realtor because of a bad experience that I had in buying my first home. At the time, I was a personal banker, and I thought that I could trust my Realtor to guide me, and offer advice and assistance. In reality, what happened was she came along, unlocked doors and undoubtedly, prayed that my husband and I would just pick a house, which, of course we did. After my own bad experience, I decided that if the opportunity ever presented itself to become an agent and actually help people through buying a home, that I would jump at the chance. For the last 3 years, mybusiness partnerand I have been helping home buyers and sellers navigate the ever-changing housing market with our professional guidance, support, and clearly defined process that ensures our clients know every step of the buying and selling process. I began my career in Real Estate in Sarasota, FL, and have since then grown my business to incorporate the Greater St. Petersburg area and surrounding beaches. The reason was simple: I had a client that asked me about Gulfport, and when I went there to explore, I absolutely fell in love. Not only did I fall in love, but I rented an apartment, spent half my time in St Petersburg getting to know it, and I am lucky enough to be able to call two places "home". Through my networking efforts, I have been fortunate enough to be able to meet some very great investors in the Real Estate market in the St Pete area, and the result is often times being aware of properties that are going to be available before they ever hit the market. Additionally, knowing my investors and their rental holdings gives me the insight into what homes might be available to a new investor in the area. Additionally, I quickly discovered that the greater St. Petersburg area is attractive to many people that are looking to relocate due to the economy and its proximity to MacDill Air Force Base, beaches, dining, shopping, and to countless sports venues. I have been fortunate enough to help people relocate, and while relocation is extremely difficult for many people, I have been honored when my clients tell me that it was not as hard as they imagined because of the service and attention to detail that my business partner and I provide.
