Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention provide methods and systems for handling of mobile discount certificates, including integrating databases of consumer information, product information, discount certificate information, and other useful data with the ubiquitous personal communications networks accessible by the modern consumer. According to one embodiment, a method for handling mobile discount certificates can comprise enrolling a plurality of participants in a mobile discount certificate program. For example, the participants can comprise an issuer of the mobile discount certificates and a customer. A program participant profile can be built for each of the participants. One or more mobile discount certificates can be created based on the program participant profiles and can be communicated to the customer.

Abstract:
Methods, systems, and machine-readable media are disclosed for utilizing mobile electronic devices to redeem and report use of various marketing offers such as coupons. According to one embodiment, redeeming and reporting a marketing offer can comprise transmitting information related to the marketing offer from a mobile wallet of the mobile device to a target device. A redemption message can be received at the mobile wallet of the mobile device from the target device. The redemption message can indicate acceptance of the marketing offer. At least a portion of the redemption message can be sent from the mobile wallet of the mobile device to a service provider system providing communication services to the mobile device. Sending the redemption message from the mobile wallet of the mobile device to the service provider system can be performed via a wireless communications network such as a cellular network.
Systems, Methods, And Apparatus For Facilitating Access To Medical Information
Embodiments of the invention may relate to systems, methods, and apparatus for facilitating access to medical information. In one embodiment, a method of facilitating access to medical data stored on a contactless transaction device may include transmitting to a contactless transaction device a transaction request comprising either a consumer account transaction type or a medical information transaction type. If the transaction request comprises the consumer account transaction type, the consumer account data may be received from the contactless transaction device, responsive to a determination that the transaction terminal is authorized to receive data associated with the transaction request type. If the transaction request comprises the medical information transaction type, the medical data may be received from the contactless transaction device, responsive to a determination that the transaction terminal is authorized to receive data associated with the transaction request type.
Systems And Methods For Disabling A Contactless Transaction Device
Certain embodiments of the invention can provide systems and methods for disabling a contactless transaction device. In one example embodiment, a contactless transaction device operable to facilitate an electronic transaction is provided. The device may include a body, a microchip integrated with the body, and an antenna integrated with the body and in communication with the microchip. The body may include destruction indicia to indicate at least one position on the body to receive a force to disable use of the contactless transaction device for facilitating an electronic transaction.
