Abstract:
A toner-dispensing container assembly for attachment to a toner compartment cover device on an electrographic printing machine to supply toner composition to the toner receiving compartment while avoiding detachment and spillage. The toner-dispensing container assembly is fastenable over the toner compartment cover device and rotatable to a first position to open the cover to the toner compartment while the toner-dispensing container remains sealed. Further rotation of the toner dispensing container opens it to the toner-receiving compartment to dispense toner thereinto.

Abstract:
A container is provided for delivering a supply of particles for use in a developer unit of an electrophotographic apparatus. A resistor member, is permanently associated with the container. When the container is associated with the electrophotographic apparatus, the resistance of the resistor member is identified and a fault signal is communicated to a display when the incorrect configuration of the container is identified as being used in the electrophotographic apparatus. Also provided is a method of determining the configuration of a container in a printing or copying apparatus.
Method For Providing Information For A Customer Replaceable Unit
A method and information system for informing a user about consumable components such as a CRU using printed documents in an electrostatographic system.

Abstract:
A bearing support for use in a process cartridge including a roll rotatably mounted to a housing is provided. The roll is used for transporting marking particles to a latent image to form a developed image. The bearing support supports the roll and provides an electrical path between the roll and a voltage source. The bearing support includes a body having a first feature for cooperation with the roll and a second feature for cooperation with the housing. At least one of the first feature and the second feature provides for rotatable motion between the housing and the roll. The bearing support further includes a third feature for providing an electrical path between the roll and the voltage source.
