Method For Reprocessing A Device Having Internal Passageways
A method for the reprocessing of a device having internal passageways by applying a fluid at a plurality of pressures to the internal passageways of the device to permit reuse of the device in a clean environment includes applying a fluid having a single input pressure to a pressure differentiation device having first and second pressure control fittings for providing first and second differing pressure outputs in accordance with the single input pressure and transmitting the fluid at the first and second differing pressures from the pressure differentiation device to the internal passageways. The internal passageways are reprocessed with the transmitted fluid at the first and second differing pressures, whereby the internal passageways are reprocessed at differing pressures in accordance with the single input pressure.
Apparatus For Reprocessing A Device Having Internal Passageways
A reprocessing unit for the reprocessing of a device having internal passageways by applying a fluid at a plurality of pressures to the internal passageways of the device to permit reuse of the device in a clean environment, the reprocessing unit including a pressure differentiation device for receiving a fluid having a single input pressure, the pressure differentiation device having first and second pressure control fittings for providing first and second differing pressure outputs in accordance with the single input pressure. Also included are tubing for transmitting the fluid at the first and second differing pressures from the pressure differentiation device to the internal passageways whereby the internal passageways are reprocessed with the transmitted fluid at the first and second differing pressures and the internal passageways are reprocessed at differing pressures in accordance with the single input pressure.

Abstract:
An infant car seat base assembly has a base section with a top side, a bottom side, an upright base panel on a first end, and first and second openings vertically spaced apart on the upright base panel. A foot is attached to the first end and is slidable along the upright base panel in a direction generally normal to a plane of the bottom side between a first position and a second position. The foot has a foot body and a resilient, flexible leg extending up from the foot body. The flexible leg is exposed on an exterior of the base section and has a back side facing the upright base panel. The foot has a guide leg extending up from the foot body adjacent the flexible leg and positioned behind the upright base panel. A tab protrudes from the back side of the flexible leg and is sized to selectively seat in each of the first and second openings. The flexible leg biases the tab toward the upright base panel to seat in a selected one of the first and second openings when aligned therewith.

Abstract:
A car seat has a base for placement on a vehicle seat and a seat shell attachable to and detachable from the base. A latch mechanism is biased to a latched arrangement attaching the shell to the base. A release actuator is connected to the latch mechanism and can move the latch mechanism to a released arrangement, detaching the shell from the base permitting its removal from the base. The shell can be optionally adjustable on the base between at least two different recline positions. The latch mechanism in the latched arrangement can then also retain the shell in one of the recline positions. A recline actuator can be connected to the latch mechanism and can move the latch mechanism allowing adjustment of the shell recline position but not permitting removal from the base.

Abstract:
A method for the reprocessing of a device having a plurality of internal passageways by applying a plurality of fluid channel flows to the internal passageways of the device to permit reuse of the device in a clean environment, including providing a manifold having an input of the manifold and a plurality of manifold outputs for forming a plurality of manifold output channel flows; applying a pressurized fluid flow to the input of the manifold thereby forming a plurality of manifold output channel flows; transmitting the output channel flows through respective flow-determining sensors for determining an individual flow rate for each of the output channel flows; transmitting the output channel flows to the plurality of internal passageways; reprocessing the internal passageways using the output channel flows; and determining an obstruction in an internal passageway of the plurality of internal passageways in accordance with the determined individual flow rate.

Abstract:
A system for reprocessing contaminated medical instruments includes at least one reprocessing unit, the reprocessing unit being adapted to perform the reprocessing of at least one of a predetermined type of contaminated medical instrument. The system also includes an electronic controller including a user input device, an electronic processor, associated memory, and an operating system capable of being run on the processor. The controller is operably coupled to the reprocessing unit to enable control of the operation of the reprocessing unit. A control program for the controller for disposition in the memory is provided. The control program establishes at least one protocol of processing steps for effecting the reprocessing of the medical instrument in the reprocessing unit. A monitor provides a visual display of various operating conditions of the system.
