Clinet comes to RE/MAX Advanced Realty from a diverse career path. He is a classically trained chef who managed one of Blowing Rock’s finest retreat restaurants as its’ "Food Service Director". As an education major he earned Biology and Physic degrees at Appalachian State University (ASU) in 1987. There he was a research assistant, regional science fair judge and taught science at both high school and college level. Clinet became a Health Inspector for the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources where he held that office for ten years (1988-1998). In that position he inspected restaurants, daycares, nursing homes and evaluated property for residential, commercial and retail development. In 1992, Clinet opened one of North Carolina’s largest martial arts studios where he taught Traditional Chinese Martial Arts for 15 years. During that period he trained over 1000 students and gained national recognition for his contributions to the arts. In his spare time he developed a love for real estate and was involved in property renovations as a means of personal investment.
