Abstract:
A steam cabinet having conveyor means to move food product though a steam chamber for moist heating. Steam may be provided for example by a boiler system or by applying water to a heated surface within the steam chamber of the steam cabinet. The apparatus enables a fast food sandwich restaurant to prepare a sandwich by toasting a bun or roll on a conveyor toasting apparatus and simultaneously steam heating the meat and cheese on the steam heating apparatus, such that the meat and cheese can be placed into the hot toasted bun immediately upon discharge from the steam heating apparatus. The steam chamber is bounded on either side by venting chambers, such that any steam escaping fro the steam chamber is exhausted to the exterior of the building.

One home in Bent County and two in Prowers County were destroyed, said state emergency management division spokeswoman Micki Trost. In Kiowa County, four homes and a former church building were damaged or destroyed, said Chris Sorensen of the county sheriff's office.
Chris Sorensen, a spokesman for the Colorado Division of Emergency Management, said the areas hit were mostly isolated farmland. A tractor-trailer was blown over on Colorado Highway 96 near Chivington, in Kiowa County.
Kiowa County Sheriff's office spokesman Chris Sorensen said the normal speed limit on the highway is 65 mmph, but speeds were reduced because of the construction zone. Meteorologists said weather conditions in the area at the time were clear, no wind and temperatures in the low 30s.
A photo provided by the State Patrol shows the front of the van crumpled into the rear of a large livestock trailer. Kiowa County sheriff's spokesman Chris Sorensen said the van collided with the rear of the truck on U.S. 287 south of Kit Carson, which is about 130 miles southeast of Denver.
All of the children in the van live at the home for adopted and foster children run by the man, said Kiowa County Sheriff's office spokesman Chris Sorensen. The relationships of the children who died to the man were not immediately known.
