Abstract:
A dynamic claims adjudication system is provided that implements a dynamic claims adjudication process to provide flexible determination of the adjudication rule set to be used to adjudicate a claim for a particular prescription drug regardless of the mandates of the formulary and the rigidity of the tier into which the drug is placed on the formulary. The claims adjudication system and corresponding methods dynamically determine the adjudication rule set to be used to adjudicate a claim based on an analysis of criteria and identification of a tier changing criteria. Accordingly, the rigidity of conventional formulary based claims adjudication is eliminated in favor of dynamic and flexible real time claims adjudication.

Abstract:
Compositions comprising a poly(aryl ether ketone) having intimately dispersed therein, from about 0. 1 to 5% sulfur, by weight, based on the weight of poly(aryl ether ketone), the sulfur present as at least one member of the class consisting of elemental sulfur, aliphatic and aromatic dithiols, polysulfides of the formula --R--S--S-- where R is a bivalent aliphatic or aromatic radical, and inorganic sulphides are useful because of their high tensile modulus, high-temperature adhesive properties, and dimensional stability. In a further embodiment the composition further contains a reinforcing filler such as glass or carbon fibers. In further embodiments the composition may be made into fibers or used as adhesives.

Abstract:
In general, one aspect disclosed features a media-capture device, comprising: one or more sensors; a hardware processor; and a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium encoded with instructions executable by the hardware processor to perform a method comprising: initiating acquisition of one or more sensor data samples representing analog phenomena captured by the one or more sensors; receiving the one or more sensor data samples; encoding the one or more sensor data samples; generating a to-be-signed data structure comprising at least one of: the one or more encoded sensor data samples, or one or more cryptographic hashes of the one or more encoded sensor data samples; generating a cryptographic hash of the to-be-signed data structure; determining whether a time-stamping server is reachable over a network connection by the media capture device; and configuring a second data structure based on the determination of whether the time-stamping server is reachable.

Abstract:
A media-capture device initiates acquisition of sensor data samples representing analog phenomena; encodes the samples; generates a to-be-signed data structure comprising the encoded samples and/or cryptographic hashes of the samples; generates a cryptographic hash of the to-be-signed data structure; transmits a time-stamping request to a time-stamping server, the time-stamping request comprises the cryptographic hash of the to-be-signed data structure, wherein the time-stamping server generates a signed time-stamp; generates a digital signature using the to-be-signed data structure, the signed time-stamp, a private cryptographic key, and a signed certificate for the corresponding public cryptographic key; and generates a second data structure comprising the samples, the to-be-signed data structure, and the digital signature.

Abstract:
Plate-and-frame membrane modules, assemblies and processes for separating components of a fluid mixture. The assemblies comprise of a pressure vessel filled with, and able to hold, pressurized fluid being processed. Lightweight membrane plate-and-frame modules are contained inside the vessel. Fluid directing conduits direct the fluid streams being processed into and out of the vessel and across the surface of the separating membrane. Because the modules are surrounded by high pressure fluid, the forces acting on the module are small. This means the modules can be made of lightweight, inexpensive materials, such as plastic. The design of the assemblies is such that it allows for modules to be easily replaced as needed. The assemblies are also designed for pressurized feed fluid separations and separation using a sweep fluid on the permeate side of the membrane. The pressure vessel can contain one or several membrane modules.
