A personal wear throw bag lifeline rescue apparatus provides a lifeline-containing bag member arranged for quick release attachment to a wearer, the lifeline being secured at one of its ends to the interior of the bag member and arranged at its opposite outer, free terminal end for secure attachment to the wearer, whereby in an emergency situation the bag member may be grasped and pulled off of the wearer and thrown, carried or otherwise moved to a distant location defined by the overall length of the lifeline cord where a rescuing person may pull on the lifeline to pull the wearer connected to the lifeline to safety.
A flexible drag stretcher is arranged for storage and transport in a tightly rolled, compact cylindrical storage condition for hand carrying and for mounting on the backpacks of soldiers and hikers, for unrolling of the stretcher into an operative stretcher condition arranged to protectively secure an injured person thereon for emergency drag removal from the scene of an injury by one or more persons, the stretcher having a single center base panel formed of a flexible sheet material and mounting a pair of opposite, flexible side torso flap members arranged to be snugly cinched against the sides of only the torso portion of an injured person's body, whereby to secure the patient to the stretcher during operation of the stretcher.

Abstract:
A litter tie-down apparatus is provided for quickly and easily securing a litter safely and securely in a transporting vehicle, the apparatus having a main body strap member arranged to engage the lift handles of a litter, the strap member mounting a pair of adjustable-length securement strap members arranged for connection to a securement fixture in a vehicle, and a ratchet winder assembly is provided to shorten at least one of the securement strap members and thereby tension the apparatus and litter against movement in the vehicle. A quick release arrangement selectively operates to immediately loosen the securement straps and allow the main body member to be slided off of the lift handles of the litter for emergency evacuation of the litter and patient from the vehicle.
Medical Chest Bag For Military, Emergency Rescue And Other Personnel
A chest bag apparatus is arranged to be worn and carried in position secured against the chest of a wearer both in a first, closed, carrying condition and in a second, open, substantially L-shaped, tray-like condition providing facilitated access to the interior of the bag and its contents during its use while being worn by a wearer. The chest bag may further have a second, fully open condition for use of the chest bag in a hanging condition on a support hook or in condition laid out on an underlying ground surface. The chest bag preferably includes a quick release, temporary closure arrangement to permit the bag to be quickly closed temporarily so that it does not obstruct the wearer's view and activity.
A litter strap that is easily adjustable to any length while simultaneously secure under tension includes an elongate strap extending between first and second parts of a two-piece buckle. The strap may be threaded through one of the buckle parts and manually slidable therethrough for adjusting a length of the litter strap assembly. A flexible pinch guard may be affixed to the strap so that the pinch guard substantially overlaps the first buckle part when the buckle parts are decoupled and may be wider than the strap and sized to substantially overlap the first and second buckle parts when the buckle parts are coupled. A keeper loop may encircle a middle portion of the strap and be slidable therealong and a pull tab may extend from the keeper loop to facilitate adjusting a position of the keeper loop along the middle portion.
A strap attachment apparatus is arranged to releasably secure pocket and pouch members, holsters, selected holders and other types of removable articles securely yet removably in quick-release manner onto supporting articles including packs and backpacks, luggage, bags, jackets, vests and other garments and types of support articles by releasably interwoven strap components which require no other metal, plastic or molded mechanical fasteners such as snaps, buttons, hooks, VELCRO connectors or other locking arrangement which may snag, catch or otherwise interfere with or hinder installation of and quick-release removal of the attached article.
Storage And Carrier Apparatus For Patient Transport Litter
An apparatus for carrying a patient transport litter includes a support mount for releasably mounting a separate litter carrier for carrying a patient transport litter. The support mount includes a mounting panel adapted to be mounted to a supporting structure and a pair of flexible side flaps that wrap around the litter carrier to secure the litter carrier to the support mount in a storage condition. Each side flap includes a fastener or buckle component for releasably joining together the respective side flaps snugly around the litter carrier, to thereby releasably secure the litter carrier to the support mount and the supporting structure. The litter carrier may include carrying straps for facilitating transport to a site of injury, where the litter carrier is opened and the patient transport litter removed from the litter carrier for use in transporting an injured person.

Abstract:
An IV infusion bag carrier pack is arranged as a substantially hollow, flexible bag having an interior that is divided into two interior compartments by a flexible, heat permeable divider panel, one interior compartment being arranged to receive and confine an IV fluids bag and the other interior compartment arranged to receive and confine the inflatable pressure cuff member of a blood pressure apparatus, whereby an IV fluids bag contained in the first pocket may be selectively pressurized by inflation of the blood pressure cuff contained in the second pocket whereby selectively controlled infusion delivery of IV fluids contained in the carrier pack apparatus may be continuously maintained irrespective of the relative disposition of the carrier pack apparatus and patient during treatment, extrication and rescue in the field, and transport to a medical facility.
