I can't honestly think of a place I would rather be than the mountains of Western NC . The mountains are not only beautiful but the people here are genuine, trustworthy,caring, honest people. Which to me means more than anything. Everyone is welcome in this place, even a girl raised in Providence, RI who later migrated to West Palm Beach Florida (where I met my husband-the surfer !). Here I am lovingly called a "halfback" because I was born in the North, moved to the South and was smart enough to come half way back ! I love selling Real Estate, and its certainly not for the paycheck( you may have noticed the market crashed and we went hungry so to speak) but its because there is nothing like the feeling I get when I instanly know we found the perfect home. When a client/friend literally lights up and gets so excited that they begin to envision their lives with family and friends in the home.This in turn, allows me to assist them in achieving their dream. While I love Real Estate, this love pales in comparison to the love I have for my precious daughter Taylor Rae. It has been a priveledge and an honor for my self and my husband of 25 years to watch this fine young lady grow. ( Not just because she's ours!! ) She's incredibly honest, loyal, intelligent,caring and trustworthy . We couldn't be more proud. We recently celebrated our baby graduating UNC Chapel Hill with high honors and we sooo look forward to seeing where the road to Graduate school and beyond will lead her... (us!)
