Abstract:
An impact responsive toy has a part of the body that is movable to expose the part in its regular condition or in a damaged condition. A biasing force urges exposure of the hidden damaged condition while the part is releasably latched to expose the undamaged or regular position. Application of an outside force, such as the impact of a crash, releases the latch to automatically and instantaneously switch the undamaged and damaged conditions.

Abstract:
A wheeled, toy vehicle or van which includes a plurality of operable devices or accessories. The toy vehicle is adapted for use with a figure toy having a pair of mechanical hands in the form of hooks. The van includes a front end which opens to provide access to the cab or driving compartment and a rear tailgate which opens to provide access to the back, cargo area of the van. A ladder is adapted to be hooked onto the side of the van to permit climbing onto the top or roof of the van by the hooks of the figure toy for use of the various accessories. One of the accessories includes a large, mechanical hand which mounts to the interior, exposed surface of the tailgate when the tailgate is in an open, fully vertical position. A side door on the van provides access to the rear portion thereof, which includes a periscope and a radar-computer control console for use by the figure toy. Many of the accessories include especially adapted handles for use by the mechanical hand hooks of the figure toy.

Abstract:
A riding vehicle includes a body and a top portion defining a seat upon which the operator of the vehicle may sit. A plurality of wheels are rotatably secured to the body for movement over a suitable surface. A pair of the wheels are pivotally mounted on a steering column for controlling the direction of the vehicle. A grasping mechanism including a pair of operable jaw members is mounted by the steering column to permit grasping of objects such as, toys, balls, or the like.

Abstract:
A game apparatus for use with projectiles, such as table tennis balls, including a ball receiving housing having a ball entrance and ball guide apparatus leading to a target area to receive balls propelled toward it by a player or players. Balls arriving at the target area are received by ball propelling apparatus which return or eject the balls toward the player through ball ejection guiding passage apparatus and an ejection opening. The game may be played by a single player for practice or by several players to simulate tennis, table tennis, handball or the like.

Abstract:
A target shooting apparatus including an operator controlled simulated gun which projects a light beam of short duration toward a target each time the trigger is actuated. The simulated gun must be cocked between each "shot" which also resets a recoiling mechanism to give a true to life operational effect to the gun. The target includes a frame fronted by a simulated fence on top of which a plurality of objects, such as bottles, tin cans, and the like may be placed. A target impeller is provided on the frame in proximity to each of the objects so that, when actuated, the impeller will cause physical movement of the associated target knocking it off of the frame. The target impellers are actuated by a control mechanism, as a photo transistor therein senses the proper alignment of the light beam from the gun through one of a plurality of apertures located on the frame below each of the objects. The control mechanism is slidably mounted on a downwardly canted guide rail by a carriage which moves from one target impeller to the next lower target impeller after actuation thereof. After all of the objects have been hit, the carriage is manually moved back to the top of the rail guide and each of the target impellers is manually reset for another play of the game.

Abstract:
A shape matching device includes a frame for rotatably supporting a generally conical container having a plurality of input apertures in a circumferential mantle. Each input aperture is shaped and dimensioned to allow insertion into the container of only one of a plurality of associated blocks. The tapered end of the container is truncated to provide an exit aperture dimensioned for unobstructed ejection of the associated blocks from the container. Along the interior surface of the mantle, a pair of curved longitudinal ribs is provided to support the blocks when the container is rotated in a counterclockwise direction and provide a gravitational slide for the blocks toward the exit aperture.

Abstract:
A toy motor vehicle includes a body with a front end section, a read end section and an intermediate section for slidably interconnecting the front and rear ends for movement between a retracted, adjacent, position and an expanded, spaced apart, position. Wheels are provided on the end sections for supporting the vehicle to roll over a playing surface and a manually controlled drive element is provided for selectively moving the front and rear end sections toward and away from each other between retracted and expanded positions. The intermediate section is provided with a number of sockets of distinct shape and playing pieces of matching distinct shapes in the form of animated characters adapted to be placed in particular sockets of the same shape for exposure when the front and rear end sections are moved apart to the expanded position. In the expanded position, a step is automatically extended and the step is automatically retracted when the front and rear end sections are moved back together to the retracted position.

Abstract:
A game includes a manual actuator, an animated character that is animated by actuation of the manual actuator, and a random integer generator such as a spinner. The animated character includes an ejector, an object such as a ball positioned in the ejector, a mechanical counter that is incremented by actuation of the manual actuator, and a release mechanism responsive to the mechanical counter to activate the ejector and thereby cause the ejector to eject the object when the counter is incremented to a sufficient number. A player of the game generates a random integer by spinning the spinner and actuates the manual actuator a number of times corresponding to the random integer.
