    A seal assembly for an automotive vehicle is provided that includes a seal and a molding whereby the seal is attached to the molding and the molding is attached to a rear-quarter window. The seal includes a pair of perpendicular bases and a resilient arc portion joining the perpendicular bases. The molding includes a U-shaped base, which receives the rear-quarter window and a support member. The support member is attached to the seal in such a manner to prevent excessive deformation of the seal when the door is in a closed position.

    A seal assembly includes a vehicle frame, a moveable panel connected with and moveable with respect to the vehicle frame, and a seal connected with the vehicle frame. The moveable panel is moveable between an open position and a closed position. The seal includes a seal body having an external surface including an ambient-contacting section that is in contact with ambient when the moveable panel is in the closed position. The external surface of the seal body also includes a moveable-panel-contacting section that is in contact with the moveable panel when the moveable panel is in the closed position. The ambient-contacting section can move from a first orientation when the moveable panel is in the closed position toward a second orientation as the moveable panel contacts the moveable-panel-contacting section and moves toward the closed position. A seal for a vehicle and a roof assembly are also described.

    A windshield wiper for clearing environmental debris from a windscreen provided to a motor vehicle. The windshield wiper comprises an arm support to be coupled to a rotatable pivot head provided to the motor vehicle for oscillating the windshield wiper during operation thereof, and a wiper arm coupled to the arm support and supporting a wiper blade that contacts the windscreen with a desired bearing force. A first spring fastener is provided to the arm support and a second spring fastener is provided to the wiper arm and separated from the first spring fastener by a first distance when the windshield wiper is assembled. At least one additional spring fastener is provided to the wiper arm, the arm support, or both the wiper arm and the arm support. A spring is coupled at a first end to one of the first spring fastener or the second spring fastener and a second end that is coupled to another of the first spring fastener, the second spring fastener or an additional spring fastener to establish the desired bearing force with which the wiper blade contacts the windscreen.

    A seal assembly for a sunroof of an automotive vehicle is provided that includes a seal and a bracket. The seal includes a front base and a separate rear base, both of which are attached to a bottom surface of the sunroof. The front base includes a lip integrally joined to a front portion of the front base that extends at an angle in the forward and downward direction. The bracket part is attached to both the front base and the rear base and includes a flange that extends in the angled forward and downward direction similar to that of the lip. The vertical length of the lip is longer than the vertical length of the flange such that the flange is adjacent to and behind the lip.

    An HVAC system for a vehicle includes a control unit for controlling the HVAC system and an air recirculation unit controlled by the control unit that is operable in an automatic mode and a manual mode. In the automatic mode, the air control unit is operable to determine if a sunroof is applied to the vehicle, determine if the control unit can determine whether the sunroof is open or closed, determine if the sunroof is open or closed, and change an operating condition of the air recirculation unit in the automatic mode from a first operating level to a second operating level if the sunroof is determined to be open.

    A tire patch clamp assembly for sealing a cut in a pneumatic tire may include an inner plate inserted through the cut and placed on an inside surface of the pneumatic tire. An outer plate is placed on an outside surface of the pneumatic tire. The outer plate is coupled to the inner plate with a threaded rod and a secondary pin. A nut is coupled to the inner plate for receiving the threaded rod. A cam handle assembly is attached to the threaded rod and extends from the outer plate. The cam handle assembly turns the threaded rod in the nut to adjust the distance between the inner plate and the outer plate until the cut is sealed between the inner plate and the outer plate.
