Nissan recalls over 226000 cars with defective airbags
Takata, a Japanese supplier of car parts, is responsible for the manufacturing of these faulty airbags. But, Brian Brockman, a Nissan representative, reported that there have been no accidents linked to the airbags, to the companys knowledge.
A representative for Nissan, Brian Brockman, said the company isn't aware of any accidents or injuries related to the recall. The latest recall of 226,326 cars is in addition to a previous recall and brings the total number of cars recalled by Nissan to 664,628.
