In 2009, after having a considerable interest in real estate, Athenes joined Brown Harris Stevens. With an eagerness and adept ability to learn the ropes she was noticed by the top producing broker in the West Side office, Lisa Lippman. She is a valuable asset to the team utilizing her prior management, customer service and marketing skills. As a member of Lisa Lippmans team she has learned a great deal about the complexities of New York City condo, co-op and townhouse deals. She is now working closely with Lisa Lippman as sales agent at the Capstone new development in Hamilton Heights. Upon graduating early from PACE University, Athenes was hired at a litigation finance firm. Within months she was promoted to Closing Department Manager, reporting directly to the CFO and VP and overseeing contracts and department staff. Her next position aligned her with a distinguished boutique investment firm researching bonds and assisting bankers. As an avid admirer of history and architecture, Athenes has enjoyed discovering the charming and unique neighborhoods in New York City since moving here in 2004. She currently resides in Lefferts Garden, Brooklyn and explores the serene environment of Prospect Park and the Botanic Garden.
