Abstract:

A method, system, and medium are provided for a global synchronization system (GSS). The GSS includes a global synchronization server and a network storage device. Content sources can be retrieved directly from the remote source, or optionally uplinked onto the network storage device. The content sources and user devices are defined, as well as the relationships of one endpoint to another, according to subscriber specifications, provided by the global synchronization system. The subscriber specifications are managed by the global synchronization server to provide synchronization of changes and updates to content sources and devices.

Abstract:

Data, normally read using a page-by page read process, can be recovered from memory cells connected to a broken word line by performing a sequential read process. To determine whether a word line is broken, both a page-by page read process and a sequential read process are performed. The results of both read processes are compared. If the number of mismatches between the two read processes is greater than a threshold, it is concluded that there is a broken word line.

A vehicle computer system including a processor and memory coupled to the processor is provided. The memory stores a plurality of vehicle applications and a vehicle application management program. The vehicle application management program, when executed by the processor, is configured to initiate restricted operations of the plurality of vehicle applications in accordance with a single digital rights payload received separately from the plurality of vehicle applications. A client/server computer architecture having a gap detector detecting gaps in sequence numbers of transactions transmitted by clients and processed by servers.
