Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for evaluating website properties by partitioning user feedback data are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a plurality of document query pairs (D-Qs) associated with a website, partitioning the plurality of D-Qs into one or more groups according to values for a partition parameter associated with the plurality of D-Qs, evaluating a property parameter of the website based on aggregated user feedback data of the D-Qs included within at least one of the one or more groups, and providing the evaluated property parameter as an input for ranking documents from the website as result documents for searches.

Abstract:
A system facilitates the display of thumbnail images containing images of websites related to a website currently being viewed by a user. The system may include several different components to provide the thumbnail images to the user, such as a graphical user interface, an input interface, and a processor. The graphical user interface may display a website for viewing by a user and the input interface may receive an input representative of a request for a related website. The processor may transmit the request for the related website to a search engine, and, in response, the processor may obtain a search result representative of the related website. Moreover, the search result may include several components, such as a related website image representative of the related website and a uniform resource locator (“URL”) representative of a location of the related website.
Enhanced Identification Of Interesting Points-Of-Interest
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for identifying points-of-interest. In one aspect, a method includes determining a location of a mobile device, and automatically identifying a point-of-interest (POI) located within a predetermined distance of the location. The method also includes providing, on a user interface of the mobile device, a rating control for allowing the user to rate the identified POI, and receiving the rating for the identified POI from the user, using the rating control.

Abstract:
Methods, program products, and systems for performing a first plurality of computations on non rendered versions of first and second markup language documents to determine a first plurality of signals, each signal in the first plurality of signals representing a comparison of attributes for the non rendered versions of the first and second documents. A second plurality of computations are performed on rendered versions of the first and second markup language documents to determine a second plurality of signals, each signal in the second plurality of signals representing a comparison of attributes for the rendered versions of the first and second documents. The first plurality of signals and the second plurality of signals are combined to determine a confidence as to whether the first and second documents are duplicates.
