Abstract:

In a method for directing packets in a radio network, instances of a packet sent from an origin node to a destination in the radio network are received at each of a set of receiving nodes. At each of one or more of the set of receiving nodes, the received packet is processed by delaying re-transmission of the packet for the delay interval following receipt of the packet. Transmissions of the packet for other nodes are monitored during a delay interval. The node then determines whether to re-transmit the packet according to the monitoring of transmissions of the packet. The node can determine the delay interval from a probability distribution, which can depend, for example, on the progress of the packet to its destination or on signal or link characteristics for the received packet.

Abstract:

In a method for directing packets in a radio network, a route of nodes from an origin to a destination is determined according to a routing algorithm. A packet is transmitted along the route. A failure of a first node to forward the packet along the route is detected. The packet is transmitted to the destination from a second node not on the route.

Abstract:

Example implementations relate to a method of tracking data in a non-volatile memory device (NVM) device. A meta-data block from the NVM device is obtained, where the meta-data block includes meta-data. The meta-data block from the NVM device is used to track an associated data object, meta-data in the data block, a user data block, a meta-data block, or an additional data block. The meta-data block from the NVM device is used to point to the associated data object, the meta-data in the data block, the user data block, the meta-data block, or the additional data block. The meta-data block from the NVM device is further used to link the associated data object, the meta-data in the data block, the user data block, the meta-data block, or the additional data block.
