Abstract:

An improved multi-purpose caulk finishing tool incorporating a clip (or locking slots) for attaching the tool to a caulking gun and means for storing caps for caulking material. The present invention is held and carried unobtrusively on a conventional caulking gun. Means are also provided for storing caps, for resealing caulking material cartridges, within the caulk finishing tool.

Abstract:

A backing strip for a windshield wiper assembly includes a pair of rails. Each of the pair of rails includes a body portion and a detent portion. The detent portion includes a cut-out on each side thereof. The cut-outs are generally symmetric with each other and form a pair of hooks on each side of said detent portion. The cut-out on one side of the detent portion of each of said rails is for receiving a claw of the windshield wiper assembly and the hooks on the opposite side of the detent portion of each of the rails are for engaging a windshield wiper blade of the windshield wiper assembly.

Abstract:

A windshield wiper frame connector for connecting a wiper blade unit to a wiper arm incluces an elongated body member defining a longitudinal axis therealong. The body member has a pair of opposing sidewalls defining opposing inner surfaces. A connecting slot is disposed in a lower portion of the body member for rotatably receiving a transverse pin of a wiper blade unit. A hole is formed in each of the pair of opposing side walls for rotatably receiving a pin of a pin type wiper arm. An upper jam portion is disposed on a top portion of the body member for tightly and smoothly receiving a hook type wiper member. At least one space is disposed in the body member for tightly receiving outer surfaces of a first hook type wiper arm. Furthermore, a pivotable lever is provided for removably engaging the pin of the pin type wiper arm.

Abstract:

A pair of sure-grip inserts formed as molded rubber sheathes for use in conjunction with a caulking gun having a downwardly protruding trigger that is retracted by hand to dispense caulk, and a downwardly protruding stationary handle to provide a hand grip for retracting the trigger. The trigger insert formed as an open-ended molded rubber sheath with a particular contoured shape and an internal channel conforming to the trigger for slidable insertion thereon. The handle insert is likewise formed as an open-ended molded rubber sheath conforming to the handle for slidable insertion thereon. The inserts are molded per a two-color double-injection-molding process to provide an aesthetically striking two-color appearance, and they are molded with a particular contoured design that conforms to the hand, thereby improving comfort during hard, extended use. The contour plus the use of soft-durometer thermoplastic rubber gives a high-coefficient of friction for a vastly improved grip under all (even wet) conditions.
